I'm so glad I wasn't planning a post for this morning.
I went to go check out the blog of Kym McNabney, my newest follower.
She works with a prison ministry, and today she has posted a testimonial letter from a man in prison named Clifford to a class full of children. It's worth sharing.
I hope you enjoy it--it's uplifting to see someone trying to help children avoid his mistakes by reaching out, even from a jail cell.

It's nice to give your blog space to a worthy post elsewhere.
Hope all is well with you, Rosslyn.
Heading to check her out.
We had the coolest visiting pastor from Maine yesterday talk to us about transforming his church.
He lost many members when he basically changed his church into becoming a homeless shelter.
Such an inspiration!

I can't wait to go check this out. Thanks for sharing this link. Prison ministries is such an amazing ministry. How inspiring.
Thanks for posting the link, Rosslyn. Clifford has truly been a blessing. He’s an amazing man who’s now living his life for the Lord. Make sure to stop by my blog on Wednesday for a picture of what Clifford and another inmate made/sent me. By the way, the necklaces Clifford made were made from vegetable and garbage bags.
Suze - Pretty good. Almost finished with the Rewrite of the Century, and that in itself is a good thing. :-)
Wendy - What an interesting story about the pastor. I would love to have seen that transformation.
Heather - I agree. Prison ministries are great: they bless everyone involved.
Kym - I'll check it out on Wednesday!
Thanks for sharing the link, Rosslyn. I'm heading over to check it out. Our writing group has Ed Griffin do monthly workshops for us. He holds writing classes in a prison here and even co-authored a book with one of the inmates. It's such a worthwhile ministry.
Carol, what a neat activity for your writing group!
